Many students from various schools at different levels don't like mathematics. I falled into realm of imagination on how about 70-80% of students failed mathematics. The problem, however must in one way or the other be related to the following:
i. Lack of interest: many students visualize mathematics as a difficult subject. The result of which make them lose their interest.
ii. Poor background: some students don't have the basic knowledge of mathematics and so become bored of its tricks and logics.
iii. Absense of motivation: at home or school, lack of motivation weaken students desire towards learning mathematics.
However, these problems can be handle through the following suggestions:
i. Developing interest: with parents and teachers involvements through guidance and counselling, the students will develop spirit of
confidence and zeal toward keeping up to learning the mathematics.
ii. Provide students with background: since at the primary level, teachers should try alot to see the students have gotten
