Founder/National President

Musaddam Idriss Musa is a multiple international award-winning author. He is a multilingual writer, journalist, academician, publisher, editor, novelist, playwright, poet, folklorist, songwriter, spoken word artist, critic, activist, orator, public analyst, motivational speaker, translator and blogger. He has experience across journalism, academic affairs, entrepreneurship, community development and youth empowerment. He is a founder and President of the Potiskum Writers Association (POWA), a Fellow of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Nigerian Folklore Society (NFS), Hausa Authors Forum (HAF) and lead representative of Poets in Nigeria (PIN) Potiskum Connect Center. He is the founder and National President of Writers Guild of Nigeria (WGN)

Amina Musa Idris

National Treasurer

Amina Musa Idriss is a final year student of Computer Science and Physics Education from Federal College of Education (Technical), Potiskum, Yobe State. She is a songwriter, novelist, folklorist and short stories writer. She is a bookworm and have passion for creative writings from her childhood. She is yet to publish her first book titled "Dale The Hero". She is the current National Treasurer of the WGN

Usman Ibrahim

Northeastern Zonal Coordinator

Usman Ibrahim is a Political Science student of Yobe State University, Damaturu. He hails from Nguru, Nguru LGA of Yobe state. He obtained a Diploma in Public Administration with first class honor. He is a non-fiction writer and poet. His debut book is 'Modern Political Thought; From Machiavelli to Karl Marx'. Recently, he completed a book titled 'The Ingredients of Politics'. Some of his poems are; 'The Unpleasant Love', and 'The Off-time'. He is the current Northeastern Zonal Coordinator of WGN.

Dabo Olawale Samuel

Dabo Olawale Samuel is a student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso, Ondo, Nigeria. He hails from Ogbomoso, Ogbomoso North LGA of Ondo State. He is a nonfiction writer and has passion for reading and self development. His works include; 'Ageing Vs Growth', 'The Transforming power of Information', 'Joy in a season Like this', and 'The relativity of Challenges'. He is the current Public Relations Officer (South) of WGN.

Fadima Aminu Ya'u

National Welfare Director

Fadima Aminu Ya'u is presently a 400 level student of Agriculture from Bayero University kano, Kano State. She studied Environmental Health Technology from College of Hygiene Kano. She hails from Sabuwar Kofa, Gwale LGA of Kano State. She has been passionate about books and creative writing from tender age. She is a motivational writer, essayist and bilingual author of English and Hausa languages. She published her first book when she was in Secondary and now writes about 14 fictional Hausa novels online. She is currently writing her first English book on sofanovel website. Her books includes 'Ƙanwata (My Sister)' and 'Our Friendship'. She is presently the National Welfare Director of WGN.

Olufunmi Enitan Olusheyi

Southern Zonal Coordinator

Olufunmi Enitan Olusheyi is an English and Literary Studies student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State. He hails from Owo, Owo LGA of Ondo State. He is a poet and fictional short stories writer. Some of his fictional stories includes: 'Forgive Me Nancy' and 'Letter To My Dear Son'. He has a poem collection titled, 'Masked'. He is presently the Southern Zonal Coordinator of WGN.

Obumah Christian Aluma

Obumah Christian Aluma is presently a 300 level Nursing student from Niger Delta University, Bayelsa State. He hails from Abia State but now resides in Portharcourt, Rivers State. He is a motivational/Inspirational writer. His work includes 'Let's take a ride', 'Perfect theme', 'The mirror', and 'Red button'. He is presently the National Organizing Secretary of WGN.

Elizabeth Patrick Bafu

Elizabeth Patrick Bafu is presently a graduating Chemistry student from University of Maiduguri, Borno State. She graduated from Federal Federal College of Education (Technical) Potiskum, Yobe State where she obtained NCE certificate in Chemistry and Integrated Science. She hails from Gadaka, Fika LGA of Yobe State. She is a motivational/Inspirational writer, songwriter and vocalist. she is presently the National Academic Director of WGN.

Saminu Sama'ila

National Provost

Saminu Sama'ila is a graduating student of a College of Education. He hails from Mangu, Mangu LGA of Plateau state. He is a fiction writer and novelist. His debut books are 'The Unbreakable Tree' and 'The Dilemma'. He is the current National Provost of WGN.

Zanna Ali Haruna

National Publicity Officer (North)

Zanna Ali Haruna is a Nigerian poet and writer whose passion and support for literature has incarcerated him to the dungeons of venomous pen and golden paper. He is currently a student of Community Health from College of Health Science and Technology Nguru, Yobe state. He believes that writers are leaders because they lead in dilemma. Some of his poems are; 'The new paradise', 'Salma's secret', 'Maryam', 'Lock up' and 'Borno'. He has also a number of written articles. He is presently the National Public Relations Officer (North) of WGN.
